VA Benefits
If this is not your first session using VA benefits for tuition, you should expect an email confirmation from a VA Representative once enrollment certification has been submitted to the VA for you.
If this is your first session using VA benefits for tuition, please take a moment to preview the following VA instructions on how to use your VA Benefit with TUI University, and forward the requested documents to us at your earliest convenience.
Once your VA paperwork has been received, we will submit enrollment certification to the VA for you, indicating how many credit hours you are taking and how much in tuition we are charging. A monthly benefit will be mailed directly to you from the VA once they've processed your package (the VA asks for 30-45 days to process your claim).
If you are active duty and eligible to use both TA and VA benefits, meaning VA Top-Up, please state that clearly on your application. If you will be using your Top-Up benefit, TUI is not required to submit enrollment certification to the VA for you each session. The student is required to submit a copy of his/her TA directly to the VA. Notifying the school in advance of your intentions, will prevent VA overpayments in the future.
If you have any questions regarding VA Benefits, please feel free to contact Nancy Frerichs at (800) 375-9878 x 2037 or Lisa Mobley at (800) 375-9878 x 2033.
