Undergraduate Requirements

College of Business Administration

High school graduate:

  • Student must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • High School transcripts will be required if transferring less than 36 credits into the BSBA program.

Transfer from other institutions, up to 88 semester credits.

  • Transfer from an accredited college or university or its international equivalent.
  • Accepting transfer credits such as ACE, CLEP, DANTES, Excelsior etc.
  • GPA 2.0  or better (if transfer student possesses a lower GPA than 2.0 the student may be accepted on a conditional basis).

A minimum of 32 upper division semester credits must be earned at TUI.

College of Health Sciences

High school graduate:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • High School transcripts will be required if transferring less than 36 credits into the BSHS program.

Transfer from other institutions, up to 92 semester credits.

  • Transfer from an accredited college or university or its international equivalent.
  • Accepting transfer credits such as ACE, CLEP, DANTES, Excelsior etc.
  • GPA 2.0  or better (if transfer student possesses a lower GPA than 2.0 the student may be accepted on a conditional basis).

A minimum of 32 upper division semester credits must be earned at TUI.

NOTE: Students with less than 60 semester credits of liberal arts and general education courses completed may be conditionally admitted to the College of Health Sciences undergraduate program and may begin taking courses, provided those students meet all the other requirements. Conditionally admitted students must have earned and transfer at least 36 semester credits.The transferred credits must include at least one course of College Mathematics and two courses in English (1 & 2).

Professional Degree Completions in Health Sciences

Applicants must hold an associate degree and current license or certificate in their field or practice. The applicant must have completed a minimum of 60 general education semester credits and up to 32 professional credits with a GPA of 2.0 or better.

College of Information Systems

Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences - BSCS

High school graduate:

  • Completion of a high school program or its equivalent.
  • High School transcripts will be required if transferring less than 36 credits into the BSCS program.

Transfer from other institutions up to 88 hours

  • Transfer from an accredited college or university or its international equivalent.
  • Accepting transfer credits such as ACE, CLEP, DANTES, Excelsior etc.
  • GPA 2.0  or better (if transfer student possesses a lower GPA than 2.0 the student may be accepted on a conditional basis).

Graduate Course Credits for advanced students (Seniors)
Students in their last session at TUI may petition to take up to two graduate level courses (500 level), which are not required to fulfill requirements for the bachelor's degree.

Petitions need to be submitted to the VP for Academic Affairs.
