English Proficiency Requirements

Requires proficiency in both written English and spoken English from students whose first languages are other than English.

International students who are applying for any of TUI's programs must have a satisfactory score from the standardized Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) as a measure of their proficiency.

Students who have TOEFL scores reported to TUI University should reference TOEFL code number 4775.

Minimum TOEFL Scores

Students whose first language is other than English but have the equivalent of at least two years secondary or post-secondary education where the primary language of instruction is English are deemed to have met the English proficiency requirement.
