Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs
The Vice President for Academic Affairs is the Chief Academic Officer of the University responsible to the President for all academic matters. The Vice President for Academic Affairs has administrative responsibility over the university Instructional Deans, Student Advisement Center, Enrollment Management, TUI Library and Institutional Research.
The overarching goal of the Vice President for Academic Affairs is to implement the University's Educational Goals and Strategic Plan. The Office of Vice President for Academic Affairs oversees a wide range of academic activities. Specifically, the Vice President for Academic Affairs develops all academic policies, works to create and enhance innovative, high quality, student-centered learning environments, while simultaneously, ensures faculty and staff professional development, works with the VP of IT to develop and use new and state of the art technologies in learning and teaching. Initiate and develop evidence based student learning assessments, and faculty assessments. The office of the VP for Academic Affairs is responsible for the university accreditation.
